Most of the new mom and dad might have heard that the new clothes need to be washed before the baby wears them. It’s very abnormal that your baby is going to be seriously harmed by the new, unwashed clothing but a small irritation or allergy might occur on the babies’ sensitive skin.
Babies go through a great number of clothing changes in one day that a parents head literally spins after that. So to keep up with the countless clothe changing and also the growing laundry pile you’ve 2 choices to opt from.
One is to get sufficient baby clothes so that you can change several clothes in one day and has few more left for the next few days. The second one is to obtain fewer clothes and do the laundry many times in a week. Choose the option which matches best with your budget and your schedule.
Some parents prefer to use dye-free, scent-free detergents such as All Free & Clear or Tide Free to do laundry on the baby clothes; this can reduce the risk of skin allergies on the babies. If your baby isn’t troubled with the clothes washed in the normal detergent then you don’t have to buy special laundry soap just for the baby clothes you can still use the normal detergent used at home.
Pre-treating stains is an effective way to keep the outfits looking like new. Diaper accidents, stains occurred caused by bright color baby food may be a hard job to clear out. But taking out time before washing the clothes and focusing on the stains can present you with better results.
If you are not cleaning the clothes immediately and let the stain remain on the clothing then try using a paste-type pretreatment that can sit on the fabric for up to a week. Otherwise, a spray-on stain treatment method or washing additive should take care of most stains.
You have to consider the size of baby outfits. Babies are sometimes sensitive to sizing, try to put on clothes with them in the shop and find out if the baby is pleasant in all the ways.
